Style Unveiled features Stephanie and Paul’s Maui Wedding

We recently had the honor to be featured on the Style Unveiled blog alongside some fabulous Maui wedding vendors.  Dan Sanchez Salon and Jessica Waite Makeup Artistry saw to it that everyone looked absolutely stunning.  Tamiz Photography captured the warmth and love of the day so perfectly that we can only imagine how the bride and groom must feel reviewing their wedding photos!  Below, see what bride Stephanie had to say about using True Bliss Florals as her provider of Maui wedding flowers.  Please be sure to visit the Style Unveiled blog for the full story.  Mahalo nui loa to Stephanie, Paul and Style Unveiled!

Maui Stylized Shoot with Deborah Stephen Photography

A few months ago, the super sweet Deborah of Deborah Stephen Photography approached us for florals for a bridal shoot at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center near Makawao, Maui.  It was our pleasure to provide a vintage-style bouquet, boutonniere and romantic table arrangement made of roses, garden roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, peonies and orchids.  Please enjoy these dreamy images courtesy of Deborah Stephen Photography.

Men Love a Nice Boutonniere

No matter how apathetic a groom may seem about his Maui wedding flowers, I have to say the guys have a hard time playing it cool when it comes to a nice boutonniere.  They are always so eager to put them on come the big wedding day.  And who can blame them?  The possibilities are practically endless when it comes to adding a touch of chic sophistication to the lapel.  Here, a collection of our boutonnieres showcases diverse textures from nature using dramatic elements like feathers, succulents, seed pods, orchids and ferns.

Stephanie and Paul’s Launiupoko Maui Wedding

Stephanie and Paul came from Canada to be married on Maui at the Sunrise to the Heavens estate overlooking Launiupoko beach park near Lahaina.  This intimate gathering featured meaningful details at every turn, and Stephanie and Paul’s choice of venue meant that their dearest family members were able to share in the whole day at the foot of the West Maui mountains.  Stephanie was beyond stunning in her lace gown and carried a bridal bouquet of flawless white orchids, while Paul looked sharp with his bowtie and a white phalaenopsis orchid boutonniere.  The adorable flower girls wore haku and were over the moon about their custom-designed petal baskets which were adorned with fabric, fresh flowers and crystal detailing.  White floral tiebacks embellished the bamboo chuppah provided by Island Rents.  After the ceremony, the happy bride and groom dined with their guests under the stars, where the tables featured eye-catching crystal candelabras, white florals, plenty of candle light and an exquisite dinner served by Chef Massimo Trombini of Luca Chef.  A special thank-you to Tamiz Photography for allowing us to share these images which captured the magic of the event so perfectly.

Jenn and Brian’s Kapalua Maui Wedding

Jenn and Brian came to Maui from San Francisco to be married on the most beautiful of Kapalua days!  Not only was the weather absolutely perfect, it was impossible not to feel the love at this wedding.  The ceremony took place on the lush lawn below the Plantation House, with sweeping views of Molokai as a backdrop.  We used posies of pink and purple blossoms to adorn the aisle leading to the bamboo chuppah provided by Plantation House Kapalua.  Jenn requested a bridal bouquet with mini callas and orchids, and rose bouquets for her bridesmaids.  Gray linen suits and boutonnieres of tuberose and sleek mini callas made for a well-dressed groom and groomsmen.  Simple reception table centerpieces consisted of pale lavender roses and floating candles in tall glass cylinders.  Jenn’s friend provided custom-designed labels for wine bottles which served as table numbers, and place cards were photos of each guest as a baby.  Too cute!  The team at  Karen Stott Photography from Oregon fabulously captured this Kapalua wedding, while Plantation House coordinator Elaine Kerr ensured that the day went smoothly.  Congratulations, Jenn and Brian, and thank you for including us on your special day!  Mahalo nui loa to Elaine Kerr for her graciousness, and to Karen Stott Photography for allowing us to share these beautiful images on our blog.
